How to Trust God

with Erwin Lutzer
"The older I get, the more mystery there is to God, but also the more certainty that we do know Him through Jesus Christ." Pastor Erwin Lutzer answers our 10 Questions.

In this conversation, Michael and Pastor Lutzer discuss:

  • What spending time with God looks like, practically speaking
  • Valuable life lessons regarding people
  • Valuable life lessons regarding God
  • How to learn to trust God
  • Seeing life from an eternal perspective
  • The blessing and charge of parenthood

“When you’re going through a trial, you don’t necessarily see God—only in retrospect do you see God. But the longer we have lived, the greater our trust in God. We begin to see that God has been faithful in the past. Consistently, in my life, one of the great lessons is: in the end, it all has to do with trusting God’s providence. We have to trust God in the midst of difficulties.

The older I get, the more mystery there is to God, but also the more certainty that we do know Him through Jesus Christ.”

Scripture referenced

Psalm 16:11
Book of Romans
Acts 20:24
