Walk of Wisdom Part 2
This is part of a 4 part series on Ephesians 4&5
Summary
In this message from Ephesians 4, Michael Easley explains what it means to walk worthy of Christ’s calling. Paul urges believers to reflect their identity in God’s family, not earn His favor.
A worthy walk displays humility, gentleness, patience, forbearance, and love. Easley explains the Holy Spirit produces these qualities as believers cooperate with Him. Love crowns these virtues and calls Christians to sacrificially put others first, just as Christ loved the church.
These attitudes produce unity within the church. Paul emphasizes unity through repeated references to one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God. The Trinity and Christ’s saving work unite every believer.
Christians represent a greater King than any earthly ruler. As God’s adopted children, believers should live with purpose, humility, and devotion. They reflect their King’s character in every area of life.
