The True Son of God (John 5:19-30)

Michael originally taught ‘The True Son of God’ (John 5:19-30) at Immanuel Bible Church.

  • Jesus Christ is God, contrary to distorted views presented by the world.
  • There is no neutrality with Jesus; we are either for Him or against Him.
  • Hearing Jesus’ word and believing in Him leads to eternal life.
  • Our view of Jesus ultimately leads to either dismissal or worship.

Excerpt From The Sermon

“Now, one of the unique components of Jesus Christ is He always obeys His Father. He obeys his father to the point of death. Jesus never argued with His Father. He never shook his fist and said, you don’t understand. There’s a perfect unity there. And if you want to know what it means to follow, to believe, to love Jesus Christ, you see the Son, the perfect embodiment of God, always obeying his Father. What does that tell you and me?”
