Excerpt From The Sermon
“If a person is living a life in constant sin, there are good arguments that a person can be harassed or demonized sometimes is the word. In Judas’ case, I had to plead fifth here. I think he had an opportunity to repent, but we do know the story that he is the son of perdition. So God has chosen him for this moment. Did Judas have an opportunity to repent? Yes. Once he goes down that road, there is no turning back. Dr. F.F. Bruce writes, ‘Satan could not have entered him had he not granted admission.’ So there’s got to be some complicity on the part of the person to enjoin in this effort. And for Judas now, it’s set in stone.”
