Dr. Eric Tully is an assistant professor of Old Testament and Semitic languages at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. He’s passionate about preaching the Old Testament and helping those in the church interpret and proclaim it with competence and confidence.
His research interests include textual-criticism and translation studies, Hebrew linguistics, and prophetic literature. Dr. Tully’s publications include The Translation and Translator of the Peshitta of Hosea (Brill, 2015), Hosea: A Handbook on the Hebrew Text (Baylor University Press, 2018), he Co-authored: Old Testament Textual Criticism: A Practical Introduction (Baker Publishing Group, 2016), and is currently writing a book on the Old Testament prophets in addition to working on several other forthcoming writing projects.
