Excerpt From The Interview
“To those who have not at least suffered some, passages like Philippians 3:10 are almost bizarre. It’s all to make the gospel real. And the gospel, of course, is much more than just, here’s the message of salvation and sign the dotted line and you’re in heaven. The gospel is living, giving the drink to the thirsty, clothing the naked, visiting the prisoner. So because it’s people with disabilities that we serve, we’ve got to address the very physicalness of the disability. That’s why so many of the programs I mentioned are very practical.” – Joni Eareckson Tada
