Shepherds For Sale

with Megan Basham
Author and culture reporter Megan Basham joins Michael to discuss her new best-selling book, Shepherds For Sale.

Excerpt From The Interview

“It has surprised me that some of these leaders that I talk about or the institutions that they’re associated with, instead of standing on these positions and saying, OK, let’s debate these ideas. Let’s talk about the positions that we took. I have seen what I feel like are really disingenuous attempts to deflect from important and large issues.

For example, trying to claim that the title of the book means I’m calling everyone who I criticize or analyze or discuss at all a wolf or a false teacher, even though I’m extremely clear from the very first chapter that that’s not what I’m doing.”

About Megan Basham

Megan Basham is a culture reporter for the Daily Wire and the author of the new book SHEPHERDS FOR SALE: How Evangelical Leaders Traded the Truth for a Leftist Agenda (Broadside Books, on-sale: 7/30/2024) and Beside Every Successful Man: A Woman’s Guide to Having It All. She is a frequent contributor to Morning Wire, one of the top ten news podcasts in the United States. She has also written for the Wall Street Journal, the Telegraph, First Things, National Review, and the leading Evangelical publication World Magazine, where she worked as a film and television editor.
