The Ultimate Miracle (John 4:46-48)
Michael originally taught ‘The Ultimate Miracle’ (John 4:46-48) at Immanuel Bible Church.
- Miracles are not just wonders or entertainment, but they are meant to lead us to a deeper faith in Jesus Christ.
- Belief in Jesus Christ should not be solely based on miracles, as miracles do not guarantee true faith.
- Instead of focusing on miracles, we should strive to develop an immovable faith in God.
- The ultimate miracle we need is the miracle of redemption, which can only be found in Jesus Christ.
- It is important to embrace Jesus Christ for eternal salvation and not just seek miracles for personal gain.
Excerpt From The Sermon
“It’s not the cure for the illness that Jesus takes an interest in. It’s the cure for their souls. He believes and the whole household believes. So this man now puts the dots together. This Jesus is not some healer. This Jesus is the Christ. He is the one who grants miracles. And he believes in Jesus Christ and his whole household comes with him. Imagine the little boy who moments prior, is so sick and may be out unconscious, he’s so feverish. And now he’s playing with a ball, bouncing around, having a great time. His dad comes home and he tells him a story and the boy believes too.”
