Is Anyone Thirsty? (John 7:1-52)

Michael originally taught ‘Is Anyone Thirsty?’ (John 7:1-52) at Immanuel Bible Church.

  • Jesus’ mission is often unpopular and can lead to division among people.
  • Jesus operates on his own timetable and purpose, not conforming to the expectations of others.
  • People are invited to come to Jesus to find fulfillment and purpose.
  • It is important to recognize our own thirst for something more and seek Jesus to satisfy it.

Excerpt From The Sermon

“Jesus Christ asks, do you crave something more than this religiosity? I’m talking of a fellowship with God the Almighty that is constant and beautiful and nourishing. The Holy Spirit will indwell you and impart this relationship to you. He gives wonderful metaphors. If you’re thirsty, come to Me. Let him come to me and drink and never thirst again. Jesus Christ was misunderstood by so many. No one can do more for you than Jesus, and no one has done more for you than Jesus Christ. Are you thirsty? If you’re thirsty, come to Christ. You will find meaning, purpose, and fulfillment.”
