The Supremacy of Jesus (John 3:22-36)
Michael originally taught ‘The Supremacy of Jesus’ (John 3:22-36) at Immanuel Bible Church.
- Understanding humility is intricately linked to comprehending the supremacy of Christ.
- The rejection of Jesus and the doctrine of hell highlight the consequences of failing to embrace the supremacy of Jesus Christ.
- Salvation and repentance are central to the understanding of humility and the positional supremacy of Christ.
Excerpt From The Sermon
John has a depth of maturity in his life and a depth of humility in his soul that may come only when a person understands who they are and who Jesus Christ really is. To understand humility, we must understand the supremacy of Jesus Christ. John is not just saying, I couldn’t get the job. This is my lot in life. I’m just a messenger boy. Well, I’m happy for Jesus and kind of kicked his foot in the dirt. This man is content. He is compelled. He is confident of the message that God has given him. And he’s got a great deal of joy.
